Meet The Players!

Fire Chief Charlie’s a folk-rock band led by husband-and-wife, Jonah & Jamie Malarsky. A blur of sound and vision formed in Illinois, Fire Chief Charlie took off in Los Angeles where the band performed live at The Hotel Cafe, The Satellite, and The Bootleg Theater, and released its debut LP Chances Are in 2017.

The heartbeat and the stomping feet of Fire Chief Charlie, Jamie & Jonah met as high schoolers in 2001 in Illinois, only to find their story went on and on. The band provides a parallel world where a love story is a love song and where the pair’s collective creativity reveals the invisible through curious characters and whimsical reflections of the natural world.
